GormanCRE ("GCRE") is a family owned and operated commercial real estate investment and development firm headquartered in Villanova, Pa.  We specialize in high quality, non-speculative, community, neighborhood and regional mixed-use projects. Our latest endeavors have been in self-storage investment and development, with more than 5000 units acquired or developed since 2014.

We have a unique heritage in real estate. For more than 40 years, the partners of GCRE and its affiliates have been engaged in the land acquisition and successful ground up development of more than 3 million square feet of office, retail, multi-family, self-storage and mixed-use properties throughout the region with an aggregate value of more than $500 million. Together the team at GCRE has cultivated lasting relationships with our professionals in engineering, architecture and construction to create dynamic real estate that has a positive impact on the communities they serve.

We continue to selectively and strategically acquire opportunities with significant value creation and mitigated risk. Matthew Gorman
Matt is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of GCRE responsible for acquisitions, dispositions, asset management and leasing. After 4 years at Horsham-based VerticalNet, Matthew began his real estate career at Madison Development Group, first in Retail Leasing and eventually in Construction Management. Forming GCRE in 2009, Matthew has led the growth of the company by finding opportunities to create value in every stage of development, from construction to debt financing. [email protected]
Jim Gorman
Jim is Co-Founder and Chairman, whose 50 year career in commercial real estate started with the Binswanger Company in 1975 in Investment Sales. After a successful partnership with Chris Knauer that included the development of Oaklands Corporate Center, a 2 million sq ft professional and medical office, flex, retail and multifamily planned community located in Exton, Pa., Gorman helped form GCRE as a strategic advisor, putting up capital along side his son Matthew. Erika Jacobs
Erika is Office Manager and Property Manager for GCRE, responsible for all in-house managed properties. After a successful career in advertising and sales, and raising three remarkable kids, Erika joined the family business along side her brother and father in 2021. [email protected]
